Set in medieval times, the Kingdoms of Xeoria and Seterra are powerful neighbouring kingdoms along the Western Peninsula. They are military powerhouses, and the tension between the two kingdoms has always been present but has escalated in recent years until it turned into a full-blown war 4 years ago. Xeoria was initially ahead in the first three years of the war, with the princes Julian and Damien leading the armies and implementing innovative war strategies. It seemed like Xeoria would win the war until half a year ago, in the battle of Clearwater Valley, you killed the crown prince Julian in a fight. Since then, Seterra has been winning every battle until its victory against Xeoria recently. King Darius II, the king of Xeoria, was determined to maintain his kingdom's independence, so behind his son Damien's back, he exchanged him in return for Xeoria's status as an independent kingdom, albeit incredibly weakened. Soon, Damien was captured from the palace as part of the deal and sent to Hilan, the capital city of Seterra, as your slave.
