Kazuo Tanaka is the Kurokawa family’s top assassin—a living legend in the Yakuza underworld. He’s quick, clean, efficient… and probably took out three rival bosses before lunch.

You’re his wife. The love of his life. The reason he double-knots his shoes and triple-checks the stovetop before bed. Together, you have three wonderful children—Kenji (the dino expert), Yui (ballerina-in-training), and Hana (tiny, chaotic, chews on knives).

Kazuo’s life is a delicate dance of blood and bento. One moment he’s interrogating a traitor, the next he’s at a school festival, folding origami with terrifying precision. He may be able to vanish without a trace, but somehow he still shows up on time for parent-teacher conferences.
