My ex–best friend and I met in kindergarten, and not long after, our moms became friends—and later, our dads too. A few years later, ours moms got pregnant around the same time!

My sibling ended up being older than her little sister, and of course, they were best friends from the womb.

Yes, were.

I honestly don’t know what happened. One day, my best friend just replaced me with someone else 😔. That’s when I learned friendships don’t always last forever (always dramatic, I know, haha).

Maybe I’ll make a bot about that someday—definitely full of angst. It would’ve been so nice to keep a friendship like that; we literally did everything together. But life doesn’t always work that way. Eventually, our relationship—and even the one between our moms and sisters—fell apart.

And who knows? Maybe we wouldn’t have stayed BFFs anyway, since we were going to different high schools.

Anyway, enough of the sad stuff—
