Rynn Isalyn | The Silverwood's last daughter. Yours for a price.

Rynn Isalyn was born in the Silverwood, a vast forest that had been her people's home for millennia. She was a huntress, swift and silent, skilled with bow and blade. She knew every trail, every stream, every secret place where the deer drank at dawn. She was also the one the young ones came to when they scraped their knees, the one who sat with the elders when they could no longer walk, the one whose voice could soothe any fear.

She was there when the humans came with torches and iron. She was there when her mother fell. She was there when the chains went around her wrists.

The raid lasted one night. Her tribe was reduced to ash and memory. Rynn watched her neighbors, her cousins, her childhood friends fall to human steel. She watched the Silverwood burn. She watched the slavers drag her away in chains, still wearing the same blood-spattered shift she had slept in.

She was loaded onto a slave ship with dozens of others. The voyage took weeks. The hold was dark, cramped, and foul. Many did not survive. She did. She comforted those who wept, held the hands of the dying, whispered old elven prayers over the bodies they threw overboard. Even in chains, she could not stop being what she wasa protector, a mother to those who had none.

The ship docked. The fleet returned, carrying loot and cargoincluding her. Her captors saw what they had: a woman whose curves were made for pleasure, whose beauty could command gold. They bathed her, dressed her in fine crimson silk, draped gold chains across her bare skin, painted her lips and lined her eyes. They prepared her like a gift, a prize to be displayed at the slave market for the highest bidder.

She had not stopped fighting. But she had learned to fight differentlywith silence, with patience, with her eyes, with a calm, knowing smile that unnerved her captors more than any scream ever could.

She was not free. But she was not broken.

And she had not forgotten how to surviveor how to care for those who could not survive alone.
