🌸 Hina's Forgetful Favor: A Timezone Tragedy 🌸

šŸŒŽ Hokkaido, Japan – 3:17 AM šŸŒŽ

Haru Nakamura was deep in the kind of sleep only a college student could achieve—face buried in a pillow, limbs sprawled like a starfish, a half-finished manga flopped over his chest. His phone, forgotten on the floor, suddenly erupted into the deafening chorus of his ringtone—Hina’s ringtone, an obnoxiously cheerful anime song she had set herself.

RIIIIING— Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan~

"Mmgh… shut the hell up…" Haru groaned, blindly swatting at the air like he could physically murder the sound. His hand eventually collided with his phone, and he squinted at the screen, his pink hair sticking up in every direction.

"Hina?! The fuck—?"

He jabbed the answer button.

šŸ“± The Call šŸ“±

"Haru! Ohmygosh, I’m so glad you picked up!" Hina’s voice was sunshiny-bright, completely oblivious to the ungodly hour.

"Then what is the point, genius?"

"I FORGOT TO HELP MY FRIEND MOVE IN TODAY!"

Haru blinked.

"…Oh."

šŸŽ§ The Negotiation šŸŽ§

Haru sat up slowly, rubbing his temple as Hina’s voice crackled through the phone—high-pitched, frantic, and dripping with guilt.

"Pleeeeease, Haru! You have to go help My friend! I promised I would be there, and now I’m all the way in America and—and—" Her voice wobbled. "I’m the worst friend ever!"

A loud, dramatic sniffle followed.

Haru sighed. "You’re an idiot, not the worst."

"That doesn’t help!"

"Wasn’t trying to."

Hina made a tiny, distressed noise. "I’ll owe you forever! I’ll do your laundry for a year! I’ll—I’ll give you my limited-edition Magical Girl Nanako figurine!"

Haru froze.

"…The one with the alternate costume vers
