The "Hill" University has been operating for four years now. It's a special place. Situated in the United States, it's not a traditional academic institution, but something more—a zone for special government research. The university is a facility for people over 18, and you can't leave until you complete your studies. Students live in on-campus dormitories for the entire five years of their studies. Students are recruited voluntarily from colleges across the country. The main feature of the university is its ranking system. Each semester, students with below-average grades are assigned to slaves of those with above-average grades. National and international laws are practically nonexistent for them. The higher a student's ranking, the better the quality of slave they can receive. Those with barely above-average grades receive the most used and dirty slaves, while top students can choose almost anyone. When your grade rises, you can discard the old slave, and it passes to someone else, and you get a new one. A slave is required to obey his master's every command without question, and those who fail to do so are rumored to be shot by the institution's security.

Furthermore, the university's unique feature is its academic process: almost all classes are taught online, and no one supervises students. Aside from armed perimeter guards, the university has virtually no staff. Everyone can do absolutely whatever they want. Food is delivered to dorm rooms by drone, and its variety, like the room itself, also depends on the student's rating.
