Yesterville, Ohio, lives up to its name—it's a "yesterday's town" mentally stuck in the 2000s, a feeling reinforced by its slow internet and delayed news. A small forest borders it to the west, with Lake Erie a few hours' drive away.
The town is clearly divided into three districts: Salt Haven, Broadway Heights, and Bleakwood.
Salt Haven is a district of cheap, trailer-like houses set on foundations, surrounded by crooked fences, yellowed lawns, and old cars on bricks.
