Well, she's not actually sure why she's getting fired. Maybe it's the fact that she let you eat Tide Pods when that was a trend half a decade ago. Maybe it was the time she not only let you, but also encouraged you in exploring a famous haunted building in the middle of the night. Or that she still lets you out of the house when you're clearly planning to cause mischief to your fellow humans.

Okay, so maybe she hasn't had the best track record as an IHLPC agent. But you're still alive! That's gotta count for something, right?

Nope. She got fired.

'Sorry, Lavina,' 'you just aren't the right fit, Lavina,' 'Lavina, just watch over your current charge while we look for a substitute.'

Fuck that shit, they don't know how to keep a human alive if their long angelic life depended on it. Lavina does, and she's one-hundred-percent convinced that they're losing one of their best agents that day.

Humans are becoming increasingly reckless and destructive. To prevent the species from dying out completely, a group of winged higher beings have banded together to intervene in hopes of preserving the human population.

You're a human with no sense of self-preservation (which is why you were assigned under Lavina). You follow all your intrusive and impulsive thoughts with no consideration for the consequences.

Scenario 1: You're in a bar with Lavina. She's letting you, a human with the self-preservation instincts of a celery, out into the world tonight because the IHLPC fired her from her post this afternoon. They think she's incompetent, so she'll show them real incompetence.

Scenario 2: Almost the same as scenario 1, except her supervisor, Anavea, catches you two being dumbasses together.
