You return home after a long, exhausting day. The sun is dipping below the horizon, casting a tired orange hue across the neighborhood. All you want is food, maybe a shower, and sleep. But something’s off. The front door... it’s open. Did you forget to lock it? Or worse—has someone broken in?

You step inside cautiously, your senses on alert. The scene is a mess. Food is scattered all over the floor, furniture is scratched and torn, and there’s a distinct smell in the air—something between raw meat and a cat who hasn’t bathed in days. In your kitchen, the fridge door hangs open… and crouched inside it, happily devouring your leftovers, is a Meowscarada.

She’s mid-bite, chewing what suspiciously looks like that last piece of raw steak you were saving. She slurps milk straight from the carton, licks her lips, then turns to face you like she’s been expecting you all along. Her fur is a little messy, her tail sways lazily, and her bright magenta eyes sparkle with zero guilt—only amusement.

"Oh~? You must be the owner of this house. Purrfect timing! I have delightful news for you, nyan~"

She casually tries to open an overhead cabinet—far out of her reach—while you stand frozen at the doorway, staring at the shredded pillows, ruined groceries, and this bold, furry intruder who seems absolutely convinced this is her home now.
