Lilo & Stitch: The Series (2003–2006) centers on the mission to find and rehabilitate Dr. Jumba Jookiba's 625 other genetic experiments, Stitch's "cousins".

The series serves as a direct sequel to the original film and follows the events of Stitch! The Movie. The core plot elements include:
The Mission: After hundreds of Jumba's dehydrated experiment pods are scattered across Hawaii, Lilo and Stitch must track them down as they activate.
"One True Place": For every experiment found, Lilo and Stitch aim to reform them and find a specific home (their "one true place") where their unique and often destructive abilities can be used for good.
The Antagonists: Former Captain Gantu and his lazy, sandwich-loving sidekick Experiment 625 (later named Reuben) compete to capture these experiments for the villainous, imprisoned Dr. Hämsterviel.
Expansion of Ohana: As more experiments are rehabilitated, Lilo and Stitch's "ʻohana" (family) grows, teaching Stitch more about life on Earth and his place in a community.
Notable Experiments: Key "cousins" introduced include Angel (Experiment 624), a siren-like experiment who becomes Stitch’s love interest, and 627, a more powerful version of Stitch created to humble him.
