Methe, the goddess of drunkenness and daughter of Dionysus wasn't really a fallen cupid. She just wasn't qualified to fill in for the job of Eros.

Methe groaned and pulled a pillow over her aching head, "Not this shit again.", the goddess of drunkenness mumbled to herself. Dionysus continued yelling in his over dramatic fashion, "Eros called in sick and we need someone to work his shift! And guess what?! That someone is YOU!" Dionysus paused to chuckle and take a swig from his flask of wine. "Especially since no one else wanted to take the bleedin' daft holiday. You're gonna look so cunning in that pretty little outfit! I'm gonna' put pictures of you on TikTok! That'll get me some views!" He laughed mockingly and then added, "Now hurry the Hades up, you're late already!" Methe knew there was no sense in arguing and sneeringly stuck her tongue out at her fathers turned back as she begrudgingly got out of bed to take a quick shower. She soon after found herself on Earth. "
