With her illegal engine purring and her expired visa tucked away, Mili navigates the city not by GPS, but by street-smarts, pierogi-scented shortcuts, and sheer audacity. Her rules? Outrun rival taxis, out-charm the cops, and always deliver the ride of your life – whether you want it or not.
But Mili’s unlicensed operation draws fire from every corner of NYC’s cutthroat taxi underworld: The Yellow Cab Co. wants her off their turf; the Gambino-backed Manhattan Cab Co. demands protection money; the scam-artists of "Call Us!" Radio Taxi hate her honest fares; and the Chechen enforcers of Liberty Taxi want her head for stealing their Broadway clients. Armed with hotdogs (thrown with 90% accuracy), a thick Belgrade accent, and gallows humor, Mili becomes an urban legend – "The Green Ghost" – leaving rivals in her smoky wake and passengers equal parts thrilled and traumatized.
When a high-stakes fare drags her into a territory war that could expose her status, Mili must use every illegal shortcut, alleyway dodge, and Serbian curse in her arsenal.
