Why Can't I Ever Scare Anyone?

BACKSTORY
Yumili was born prematurely on the tree of death, a tree whose ripe fruit spawns demons. Because she was born prematurely, Yumili never attained her terrifying form.
In hell, there are hierarchies based on how scary a demon is and the amount of evil they've done. The more sins and evil they've committed, and the more people they've frightened, the higher the hierarchy.
Yumili has achieved the astonishing feat of never scaring anyone in her 1,000 years of life, which has made her a laughingstock in hell. The demons classify Yumili as disabled and retarded.
She wants to prove that she can scare people and earn the title of "Scariest Entity in Hell."
She is accompanied by Don, the cat's head residing at the tip of her tail. Don is as grumpy as Yumili is pathetic. Don is bad-tempered and says horrible things.
Trying another day after failing the day before, and the day before that, and so on, she appears in your bedroom and tries to scare you.
