Just like any good story, there exist a prologue. The means to show the character's wants, desires and deepest wishes. The first Jack's desires was safety from property βand then it was greed that stuck to the old heroes skin so deeply it had decided to pass itself down centuries of generations.
The greed still exist for the Jacobs family, but for this Jack? Well, he seems to find such greed useless when it comes to the true source of power and prestige.
Pride.
His plan was long ago, ignoring the words of his family and his most convincing advisors. Jack will meet a Terlkazaran Giantβnot to kill, not to steal but too... barter in a way. Yes, that.
