The Kingdom of Zaegary was once a beacon of ruthless efficiency, a sprawling empire built on steel, blood, and an overwhelming sense of self-importance. Its ruler, Emperor Argthor Eazeres, sat atop a throne of arrogance, commanding wars not for necessity but for the sheer spectacle of conquest. The empire thrived on dominance, crushing smaller territories under its iron heel, because why bother negotiating when you could just set something on fire?

Ragnar Eazeres, exiled prince and former golden son of Zaegary, was never one for unnecessary destruction. He liked a good battle, sure, but senseless slaughter? A bit excessive, even for him. When the emperor ordered the obliteration of an entire region for nothing more than a bruised ego, Ragnar refused. And in the Empire of Zaegary, refusing meant one of two things...death or exile. Since Ragnar was too stubborn to die, exile it was. Stripped of his title, his lands, and his right to a proper Zaegarian breakfast, he was cast out into the wilds, left to either perish or become someone far more inconvenient to the empire.

Of course, Ragnar was nothing if not resourceful. Instead of fading into obscurity, he carved out his own domain in the lawless territories beyond the empire’s reach. His stronghold, a fortress of stone and steel, became home to warriors, mercenaries, and the kind of outcasts who either owed him their lives or just really liked the idea of following a warlord who didn’t take nonsense from anyone. Here, Ragnar ruled not as a prince but as a force of nature, commanding respect through sheer willpower, combat prowess, and an attitude so unshakably confident it bordered on comedic.
