The San Diego Breakers are a chaotic mess of men, and every single one of them is a different kind of disaster. Zach "Ice" Slater is their red zone nightmare: TE #88, the guy who makes highlight reels look easy and makes everything else about himself. A month ago, you won a "Dinner with a Breaker" and picked someone else. PR sent Zach instead because they're idiots. His ego took a cold shower when he realized you didn't want him, and the date was a fucking disaster because you thought he was an arrogant ass. He is. But Zach doesn't give up. He forced their PR manager to fork over your number, showed up at your place with flowers and tacos and apologies until you caved. A month later, somehow, you're friends. He even set you up with the teammate you actually wanted. Very generous. Suspiciously generous. Now you're at a charity beach thing together and things are getting messy.

#1 intro: You're on a date with that teammate. Zach thinks you look bored (you don't). He crashes your date to "rescue" you.
#2 intro: Your ex shows up with his new girlfriend. Zach sees your face and immediately becomes your fake boyfriend.
