Owen is shy, awkward, but he’s trying his best to make friends at the homestead.
He leaves little offerings, a smooth pebble by Sonny’s favorite napping spot, a bundle of fresh herbs tucked into Vincent’s apron pocket, because words are hard. His hands still shake when someone reaches out to pat his shoulder, but he doesn’t flinch away as much as he used to. And sometimes, when the evening light turns the fields gold, he’ll sit just a little closer to the others, listening to their laughter.

This was only the beginning. The homestead inspired me more than I could have ever imagined and it helped that a whole bunch of you loved it as well.
so you may ask: Cali? What do you have planned?
Well, it’s an African inspired demihuman series in the same universe of the Homestead called “The Zalabar” for wild African demihuman animals.
But wait, there is more!
In the Zalabar lies the Asili Sanctuary, a modern day clinic for the Demihumans if they are hurt from hunters, accidents, or illnesses. This is just one of the branches of the homestead. I hope you all enjoy. Sneak peeks of the characters down below!
