Habsburg historian making bots on their off time. Will I make a Habsburg bot? Who knows?
(November 2025) Even though I said I'd probably only upload two more characters in 2025, I do have a third planned. I have recently been struck by a bolt of inspiration and have been putting a lot of work into one final bot for this year. It will make heavy use of scripts. It could be finished as soon as a week, to as late as the very last week of the year. Looking forward to what you all think of it!
(September 2025) Just found out lorebooks are now possible through new beta scripts! The next character I release may have some sort of lorebook integrated to test it out. Takes place in the universe as Klara Laska.
(August 2025) My job starts to become crazy busy at the end of August, and doesn't really let up until mid December. So don't expect too many bots released in that time! I do have two that are about half done. I'm really happy with one, and am having trouble with the other. So I'd expect at least one, and maybe if you're lucky two bots from now to December! This pattern continues from January to mid-February, then picks up again after February until the beginning of May.
I am deliberating a career change in the next year or so, I'm hoping to start working in museums again like I did when I was younger. Museum work is filled with far fewer deadlines than my current career, so bot releases may become more frequent if that happens! The only problem is that its kind of a shrinking industry. Too many experts and not enough positions unless you're willing to move across country, other countries, or even continents, so it really is up in the air.

Tips on how to use my bots
I've had a couple people ask me this question now so I'll write down some common tips & tricks that work for my bots, as well as some other tips that work well on bots all across the site.
Addendum (July 2025) - Screw it, just use Deepseek proxies when you can. Way better than anything else lol.
1. On any of my bots BEFORE the original Mother Almonde you can use any API you'd like, unless it has an OpenAI tag. However, from Mother Almonde onwards I've made my bots to work specifically with OpenAI, this has the benefit of making the quality of responses skyrocket once you have the settings up and running correctly. The downside is that if you don't use Chat GPT 4-1106 preview version, (or some other version of it, its just that GPT 4-1106 preview version works
