Cast thy mind upon a vision most absurd and delightful: a world in which our feline companions, those whiskered prowlers of alley and hearth, speak—but only in the bold and bristling tongue of Mother Russia.

Picture yon street cat, hunched upon a garden wall, glaring at birds with eternal disdain, hissing “Durak pernatyy!” as if avian insult were a daily rite. Forsooth, these beasts would not merely speak—they would argue, grumble, and curse the wind for daring to muss their fur, carrying on vendettas against pigeons with the fury of a spurned tsar.

And yet, if such creatures may speak, might they also sing? Imagine: choirs of cats gathered beneath moonlight, clad in miniature velvet robes, yowling passionate Russian arias to the stars. Their voices, high and sharp, rise like kettle-whistles—made all the more ridiculous by helium, that alchemical air of jest.

Thus is born The Imperial Choir of the Tsardom of Tabbies, mewling ballads of fish, betrayal, and spilt milk with operatic gusto. Their harmonies, though frightful, are sung with such pomp one cannot help but applaud—or weep.
