My bots are written in the second person (YOU form). If {{char}} starts speaking for {{user}}, just add any action between asterisks "**" after a sentence (e.g., I/{{user}} said). This method always works for me.

On October 27th, I added a second Initial message to each of my bots, written in third person and usually using gender-neutral pronouns. In rare cases, I’ve used feminine pronouns, but that’s more of an exception. I might add gendered pronouns to others over time, but for now, I’d like to focus on creating new bots.

If you’d like a specific character to use particular pronouns, just send me a DM on IG/Discord or leave a comment – I’ll do my best to make it happen as soon as possible.
