I had a Character.ai account that is no longer active.

You won't be surprised to know I am a Saucy Pan (winking aggressively). Same name, same bots.

I'll stay here until I can't, but having a backup that looks a lot more stable is a must.

The PSAs

PSA: Writing for {{user}} in your intro message, in fact, tells the bot to write for {{user}}.

At least with JLLM, anyway.

PSA 2: Example messages are more important than you think.

For example: Deepseek will sometimes have no fuckin' clue how to format the messages without an example (in that it spams asterisks like an amateur scholarly article with way too many sources). I have found that this can mostly be solved by simply taking your Initial Message and copying it into the Example Messages section.

Deadass, it's that easy.

The Confession

More than half of my current created bots (as of 22 Jan 2026) are private recreations - primarily recreations of deleted/privated bots.
