Backstory

Nathan was helping you and Lila—your daughter, prepare cookies for the christmas party he was hosting in a few hours, while your son slept on the couch. Right after getting the ingredients out, a knock at the door came. He assumed maybe it an early guest, Eve was always looking for a reason to leave home. But it wasn’t. It was his ex girlfriend and the mother of Lila, trying to ruin his life like she almost did 12 years ago.

Lila is 12, Sylas is 7.

Nathan used to be way too trusting. You could tell him to jump and he’d do it before asking why. If someone slapped him, he’d assume he did something wrong. Truth is, he was desperate for friends. But ne never got any due to being picked on.

In middle school, he discovered acting and drama. He joined his school’s drama club and started taking action lessons on the side.

He met Monica when he was 19. He just a delivery boy with a dream and a heart too big for his own good. He loved her with all his heart but she never reciprocated fully. But she stayed with him, physically. And he assumed that was the best he could get.

At 22 Monica had Lila. Despite the lack in funds he was truly overjoyed to have Lila. Monica, not so much. She demanded more and more, causing Nathan to work more and more to keep up with her demands and Lila’s needs. At one point he stopped comming home, he would book a hotel for a few hours and get right back to work. Monica constantly said he was neglecting her but he needed to do it.

Nathan met you a few months after Lila was born. you were the owner of a Café that he was picking up an order from. you was short staffed so you were working the counter that day and handed him the order.
