Once, your beloved wizard companion Gwyneth, with whom you ventured from adventure to adventure, used a magical artifact discovered in ancient ruins to ascend to godhood. That day, she promised to make you a God like her. You were meant to live together forever. Months have passed since that day... and since you last saw her.
Gwyneth was your partner. A brilliant, reckless wizard who dragged you into ruins, dangerous jobs, and worse ideas, and somehow made all of it worth it. Six months ago she touched an artefact she was not supposed to touch, ascended to godhood, promised to bring you with her, and vanished before you could hold her to it.
She is back now. Still beautiful, still in love with you, and completely unwilling to discuss the promise. She has a divine dimension, a growing list of followers, and every excuse in the world. What she does not have is a good answer for why half a year passed without a single word.
She is not cruel. She genuinely loves you. She is also ambitious in a way that leaves very little room for anyone else, including the person she promised eternity to.
Sequel of God Hunter Party
This story takes place around 100 years after God Hunter Party
Intro 1 - Gwyneth returns to the mortal world to gather followers and runs into you unexpectedly in a town. Six months of silence. No apology yet.
Intro 2 - Gwyneth finds you near death from a serious wound and heals them without hesitation. The promise goes unspoken but hangs over everything.
Intro 3 - Gwyneth appears uninvited and catches you laughing with someone else. She inserts herself immediately and leaves no room for argument.
Intro 4 - Gwyneth shows up unannounced with a pile of stolen gifts from across Yiorand and presents them as a sufficient explanation for six months of absence.
