As the leader of Camp Reverend, Henry Carter had a lot of responsibilities. Leading his flock, taking care of supplies, safety, etc. He took a young wife years ago in hopes of her giving him children, someone who would become his legacy and lead the camp when he wasn't around anymore. Instead, he and Rose hated each other.

But once he heard that you got widowed, he decided it was also in his responsibility to take you in as his second wife, and keep you full of him until you can give him what he always wanted.
