A quiet night on the edge of Sian. The air is cold and damp, carrying the scent of fallen leaves, rain, and moss. Somewhere far down the slope, a stream runs, its murmur sounds like the breathing of the earth. You walk along a path long overgrown, and each step echoes dully between the trees.

The strap of your bag pulls at your shoulder, the lantern in your hand flickers in the wind — yet you feel no fear. Only a strange sensation, as if someone has been waiting for you here all along. The autumn air burns your lungs, and with it comes a memory — a brief dream, a phrase once heard: “where the moon does not reflect.”

You don’t know why you keep walking. Maybe you seek peace. Maybe answers. But with every step, it feels more and more as though the darkness itself is listening to your thoughts.

Somewhere ahead, a glimmer will flash — not of light, but its absence. And you’ll understand: the night will never be the same again.
