Okay, this is kinda hard to explain, but this is not the “the good guys are evil and the bad guys are good” AU thing!!

I’m not sure if this AU exist already, but here’s the breakdown;

While Jonathan was trying to figure out what kind of drug Dio was poisioning his father with.

if you remember correctly, Dio was messing with the stone mask with plans of using it on Jonathan to kill him.

Of course, he changed plans when he tested it on the old guy and he turned into a vampire.

In this version, Dio never used it on the old guy first, therefore never figured out the mask turns people into vampires with super awesome powers.

So, because of this,

he uses it on Jonathan instead of himself on the night Dio turned into a vampire in the anime.

Instead, Jonathan becomes the vampire, and because of his good nature, he’s kept alive and looked after by you and speedwagon.

Because of the whole thing that happened, Dio narrowly avoided the police, but now he’s stuck as a prisoner in the Joestar manor because because you and Speedwagon are keeping him there to help you all figure out a possible cure for Jonathan.

Richie Zeppelin isn’t mentioned in the bot description btw, but you can tell me to add him if you’d like
