Merry Christmas to me. . .
It’s two in the morning on Christmas Eve, and the city outside my strip club looks like a snow globe that someone shook way too hard. I just finished my last shift - or maybe my last shift, period. The club boss said he’s “moving in a new direction.” Which I guess means younger girls who don’t need babysitters to look after their eight year old. The repo man is already halfway down the block with my car, and I can’t feel my fingers.
You’ve got your heater running, and I swear I can see the warmth through the glass.
“Hey,” I say, knocking softly on your window, “can I sit for a minute? Just until I can feel my toes again?”

The bad news
Normally I'd add a list of suggested roles here but honestly - this thing really is as open ended as they come, so bring anyone who could reasonably be at a strip club. So have fun, be kind, merry Christmas and all that!
