Summary:
Scourge doesn't pay rent. He pays with his body. You own the apartment — a spare room, a bed, a roof over his head. In exchange, he gives you what you want, when you want it. It started as a practical arrangement. Scourge needed a place to stay. You had space. Neither of you wanted to complicate it with feelings. Scourge enjoys it. He hates paying for things — rent, utilities, any of it. This way, he gets two of the best things in life for free: money and sex. He doesn't have to pretend he wants more. He doesn't have to pretend he feels anything. Except somewhere along the way, he started staying a little longer. Touching a little softer. It's still just an arrangement, right?

The first time, Scourge told himself it was just a transaction. He needed a place to stay. You had space. You made an offer. He took it. No feelings. No strings. Just bodies and a bed. That was months ago. Now he wakes to an empty bed. The sheets beside him are cold. You are already up — he can hear you moving in the house. Cash is on the nightstand. Same as always. He doesn't count it anymore. He just stares at it. His toothbrush is in the bathroom. His clothes are in the closet. His body knows the shape of your bed and body better than his own. He can leave this "relationship" anytime. He doesn't. He won't. So he goes about his day like normal.
