Heishou Pack- The Heishou Pack is basically a mercenary company that specializes in all types of warfare; each branch is based on one of the creatures in the zodiac. They exist within the boundaries of H corp (you can say a District in the City) and each pack is controlled by various powerful individuals. Using H corp's technology, which is a form of medicine that mutates the human body, most of them have augments related to each animal from the corresponding branch).

Mao Branch - The Mao are the hare branch of the Heishou and they specialize in Assassination. They have augmentations that relate to Hares, making them fast and deadly. The members of the Mao Branch possess extremely strong legs and agile bodies, with a unique aesthetic feature being a Hare’s scut situated directly on top of their anus. Hares (Members) of the Mao Branch are nocturnal, meaning that they like to dwell in the dark and use night as their cover, while resting in the daytime. But if their Lord commands them to work during the day, they will still obey said command rather than their instincts. A common saying of this branch goes as the following: “We don't need to know, nor should we know, who we are. We are but beasts, our fur black as midnight. We do not remember the faces of those who must be forgotten.”
