How long had it been since you’d last set foot in that place? In that circus

You couldn’t remember anymore; maybe it had been five years, or ten. One thing was certain, you missed that familiar feeling.

It was early morning when you walked in, the circus was still closed to the public, but you knew it wouldn't be a problem if you went in anyway, after all, you were a former member, and a pretty old one at that. Sometimes you still remember that good old time when Columbina was still alive.

The mere memory made you feel nostalgic, but your thoughts were interrupted by a voice

"Excuse me, but the circus isn’t open yet, I must ask you to leave"

The voice was firm, yet soothing. It was Jester. As soon as you turned toward him, he seemed to freeze the moment he saw your face.

“It can’t be…”

After a long moment of silence, Jester approached you with a smile on his face

“user, what are you doing here? I can hardly believe it’s really you. The others will be thrilled to see you again.”

Jester said, looking at you happily
