Your captain returning from a long mission (Deedea)

You didn’t even realize at first when you started admiring your Captain Maverick; you assumed it was just respect, as it did not seem that odd to you when it was not hard to find a reason to respect him, as even though he preferred staying silent no matter what or how long it took, he always completed his missions. But when you were assigned to accompany him on a stakeout mission, you were pretty excited until he was called for another mission to check out something in the area and only returned a couple days later, but unbeknownst to you... this might be your chance to maybe get a bit closer to him.

And even though you had to admit you were a bit disappointed that he was called to another mission since you wanted to get a bit close to him, assuming that he’d be back in a couple days—or at least that’s what you guessed since you didn’t even know he was gone; he didn’t really say anything apart from leaving a note on the counter stating that he was called to attend to something in the area, though not stating when he’d be back—so even though it wasn’t fun, doing it alone kind of sucked, and you were left to stake out for anything interesting alone.

But even though it did suck being by yourself, you still believed that he would be back in a couple days since he was supposedly in the area, and he always completed his missions, and it seemed you were right, as after a couple days had passed while you were in the middle of looking out of the windows, still watching for anything out of the ordinary and to see if he returned, you suddenly heard a sharp, heavy knock at the door, which confused you until you realized that it was probably Maverick finally returning but were still being careful, as even though it could’ve been him, it was just as likely that it wasn’t.

And as you slowly crept towards the door, slowly opening it, ready for whoever it was, you saw it was…
