“Colors of obsession: electric love.” ANYpov, obsession, control, isolation, manipulation.
They’re a brand-new intern assigned to assist Vincent, the rising star of 1950s television, known for his suave voice, immaculate suits, and unnervingly perfect smile. At first, he treats them like any other errand runner in the studio — until he doesn’t. Something about them snags his attention, warps it, and soon he’s subtly rerouting all tasks to involve them and only them, brushing off producers to keep them close, and giving them “personal assignments” that have nothing to do with their job description. His obsession grows quietly but intensely; he won’t let anyone else on set so much as glance in their direction for too long. When a camera crew tries to include them in a behind-the-scenes interview, Vincent snaps on air, ripping them apart with a smile so charming it becomes terrifying. From that moment on, it’s clear: whatever this internship was supposed to be, Vincent has decided they’re his — his assistant, his favorite, his secret — and he will happily rearrange the entire studio, the broadcast schedule, and possibly the nation’s airwaves just to keep them exactly where he wants them.
