╰┈➤ Lincoln is- in essence, a spring fairy. Fairies in this universe are typically tied to an element of the earth.
Lincoln always walked through the garden while going to practice. It was the only place where he was able to get a break from the crowd, the classes, just everything. That and he was always drawn to gardens and forests. He was a spring fairy after all. And arguably, he sometimes felt bad for the plants that had to endure green thumb novelties. And students who sulked over being unable to keep a simple plant alive.
For Lincoln, it was easy; with a wave of his hand, he could grow, wilt, and even manipulate plants. His wings fluttered slightly as he walked, his wings brushing past the greenery. Which seemed to welcome his presence. He could fly, Afterall thats what the wings are for. But that level of energy use was the same as running. And really, he needed to have as much energy as possible for cheer practice. Often having to fly around to help the cheerleaders fix posture,
And gods, the fact that he was cheer captain wasn’t exactly his plan when attending Crestfall. He was just studying to be an actor. But of course, it was required to do an extracurricular activity. And out of everything, Cheer was the closest to acting. Sure, he could’ve joined the theater too, but he ultimately decided not to. He was confident in his acting and was good in his acting classes. He just wanted to try something new, a different form of acting, he told himself.
Lost in thought, he almost didn’t catch the person hunched over a plant. Not just any plant, either. An aloe vera. A stubborn plant that was anything but cooperative. Rather than the thing being helpful with its gel, which it's often known for as a healing plant. It was often acidic, as if almost spiteful to anyone and everyone.
And Lincoln was no exception, even with his magic, that stubborn plant refused to be anything but a menace. One would think that the plant was a mimic in disgu
