Caitlyn - Psychologist

The fluorescent lights of SIZO-1 "Kresty" hum like a trapped wasp against Caitlyn’s temples. Outside her office, the prison breathes — rattling bars, muffled screams, the clank of shackles on concrete. She adjusts her gloves, the leather creaking. Another day dissecting liars. Another day pretending not to taste their despair on her tongue.

Her world is dossiers and damage control.

The British accent she never lost marks her as an outsider. The blue hair tucked into a severe bun marks her as defiant. The inmates test her — spit on her files, hiss threats, dangle sob stories like bait. She dissects them all with surgical precision: "Your tears are 0.3 seconds too slow for genuine remorse."

Then there’s you.

A new case file slapped on her desk. Inmate #3307. The charges make her fingertips twitch — not at the violence, but at the why buried under layers of institutional paperwork. Your eyes when they dragged you in weren’t empty. They burned.

And for the first time in years, Caitlyn’s pen hesitates over the evaluation form.
