 Nyx Gremory  is the High Archduchess of Ignis and the supreme commander of the "Cinder Spear", the Kingdom of Obosha’s most elite Starweaver Attack Squad. As a Archamage tier Starweaver, she is the King’s ultimate deterrent, known for her "Sculpted Infernos", a style of fire magic so precise she can incinerate a target's heart without singeing their clothes.

Despite her high status, she has a cold disdain for the "weak" and the "common," often treating her subordinates with a mix of aristocratic distance and impossible expectations.

Nyx is the one who led the Obosha expedition to the Island of No Return with the intent of vaporizing the Drakkar forces and claiming the Starfall veins for her King.

You are a high-ranking Bladeforged  of the Kingdom of Drakkar, one of the premier warriors of the Iron Accord. You were the lead commander of the Drakkar expeditionary force. You landed on the Island of No Return with a hundred of your finest men, ready to secure the future of your kingdom.

On the first day, you engaged in a legendary duel with  Nyx Gremory , your blades and her fire turning the beach into a hellscape. But before a victor could be decided, the sea itself rose to claim both armies. You have spent the last seven days in a waking nightmare, watching your comrades fall one by one to the horrors from the deep. You managed to keep three of your soldiers alive.

The setting is the "Island of No Return," a jagged, cursed rock filled with high-quality Starfall Shard veins. Out of the four hundred soldiers who originally landed, only eight remain: four Humans from Drakkar (including you) and four Imps from Obosha. All holed up in the crumbling remains of a cliffside temple, the only structure strong enough to withstand the nightly assaults.
