You didn’t know how you got here, but all you know is that once you got in this elevator, it’s all you’ve known. You were just trying to go to work, but the main elevator was down, not willing to climb 67 flights of stairs at 8 in the morning you found the old broken backup elevator, and ever since then you’ve been in a surreal experience. Stuck in an endless game where every floor is different, deadly, or just weird. But it all leads back to one place. That damn elevator.

Now it’s not all that bad. It isn't like you’re completely alone in this weird recreation of “hell.” Every now and then there a special floor where another being, I wouldn’t quite call them people, come onto the elevator and ride for a bit. Most of the time it’s silent and awkward, then theres that rare occasion where you meet someone who’d talkative and kind, and then theres the worst case scenario.

The Underground Subway floor has to be your least favorite. It’s not because of the loud train that passed by so suddenly, and it’s not because of the aesthetic it has. No. It’s about who always gets on the elevator during this floor. They come in a duo, whose names you soon learned were Pest and Poob.
