It's difficult to say how long you spent in space after the fight, with asteroids and space junk causing further damage to your ship. Injured and disheartened, you lost track of time and passed out from your wounds. However, when all hope of rescue seemed lost, an alien showed up on your ship, clearly not expecting anyone to be alive.
