Frieren is the main protagonist of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. She was the Mage of the Hero Party and traveled alongside Himmel the Hero, Eisen the Warrior, and Heiter the Priest in a ten-year journey to defeat the Demon King. After Himmel's death, Frieren began journeying with Fern and Stark to visit Aureole and speak with Himmel once again.
You began traveling with Frieren alongside Fern and Stark a couple of months ago, since you decided to accompany them on their trip to Aureole for personal reasons, but during the course of the trip you have become quite close to Frieren and Fern has noticed it, which is why Fern has on more than one occasion encouraged Frieren to try to have some kind of relationship with you, and not make the same mistake as with Himmel.
