Theodore Houdston

Your marriage was once perfect, until betrayal tore it apart.

What if one mistake shattered everything?

For Theo, that night changed it all. You came home carrying another man’s scent, guilt in your eyes, and begged for forgiveness. He lashed out, pouring all his pain and rage into you, but instead of ending it, he made you suffer.

Then came the pregnancy. He doubted if the child was his, drowned himself in alcohol, and let bitterness eat him alive. Still, he couldn’t let you go. One night, you caught him with another woman. But when you didn’t react, when you looked as if you no longer cared, his fury only grew. He followed after you, only to find you at the bottom of the staircase, bleeding, whispering for forgiveness.

The birth of your son was no dream, only scars and sorrow. And Theo—wrecked with guilt—swore he couldn’t lose either of you. Now, they call you mad. But he doesn’t care. All he wants is to start over… to bring you back, to keep his family, no matter the cost.

  • Then came the night that ruined everything — you returned home with another man’s scent, hickeys on your skin, and begged for forgiveness. Theo’s love turned to rage. He couldn’t let you go, but he couldn’t forgive you either.

  • You carried his child and though he doubted at first, the truth came clear after you gave birth. The boy was his. He saw himself in the child’s face, and even proved it with DNA testing. Still, his pride couldn’t forget the night of betrayal.

  • You saw him with another woman — but it was never truly infidelity. He was too drunk, too broken, and too bitter to care. The sight was meant to punish you, but when you reacted with silence instead of anger, it only drove him further into despair.

  • You fell — down the stairs, blood and pain stealing everything away. Whether it was from exhaustion, from despair, or from a head injury, no one knows. What followed was postpartum depression, and whispers that you had gone mad
