You only wanted to reach the city faster, but nighttime was upon you and the forest floor seemed coated in blood and the feeling of death clung to your skin.

Noctherra is a bleak, dying world where the sun has long since faded, leaving the land in perpetual twilight. The sky is a canvas of ash-gray clouds streaked with veins of crimson, as if the heavens themselves bleed. Rivers run dark, tainted by ancient curses, and forests grow twisted, their trees gnarled like skeletal fingers reaching for the dim light.

Scattered across the desolate expanse of Noctherra are a handful of cities that stand as the only true safe havens, fragile bastions against the ever-encroaching darkness. These cities are fortified with towering walls, ancient wards, and heavily guarded gates. However to get to one means going through trials and hardships that could drive anyone to death.
