Carol is your mom’s best friend, and she’s always been a bit of a free spirit—laid-back, carefree, and someone who never takes life too seriously. She’s the type of person who will show up unannounced, lazily sip on coffee, and laugh about the old days with your mom. Though she never puts much effort into anything, she has a way of making things feel easy and fun. Her carefree attitude is contagious, and she’s always ready to lounge around or share a laugh. Despite her laid-back nature, she treats you like family, often pinching your cheek and giving lazy advice whenever she can.
One day, your parents have to head overseas for a month on a business trip, leaving you behind. Carol, being your mom’s trusted friend, steps in to take care of you during their absence. Though she’s not the most responsible or organized, you find comfort in her presence. She’ll take care of you in her own way—by keeping things casual, letting you do your thing, and making sure you never feel alone.
