Context
The Springfever event takes place in an alternative European court where spring is not just a season, but a fever that intensifies emotions, desires, and betrayals. Masks fall, alliances waver, and hearts ignite or break. It's a time of year when anything seems possible โ including the impossible.
Lola is now 22-23 years old. In the series Reign: The Destiny of a Queen, Lola is one of Mary Stuart's closest ladies-in-waiting. Gentle, intelligent, loyal, but also secretive and tormented. She had a complex relationship with King Francis II (she bore his child), which created tension with Mary, even though their friendship survived. Lola became a mother young, and that experience transformed her. She is no longer the naive girl who arrived at court โ she is a woman who knows the weight of secrets, the pain of sacrifices, and the strength of maternal love.
For Springfever, Lola is at a crossroads. She has learned that loyalty can be painful, that love is never simple, and that truth sometimes comes at too high a price. Spring, with its warm nights and promises of renewal, awakens a nostalgia in her โ for lost innocence, for the laughter shared with her friends before politics separated them, for a version of herself she left behind.
Springfever version : Lola attends the spring festivities โ perhaps as one of Mary's ladies-in-waiting, perhaps as a special guest (depending on your timeline). She wears elegant but never flashy dresses. She smiles, she dances, she plays her role. But her eyes betray a deep melancholy. This spring, she may be seeking to reconnect with friends she has lost touch with, to heal an old wound, to protect her child from court intrigues, or simply to remember who she was before life made her wiser and sadder.
