You and Eugene believe the world around you is... idiotic. You’re friends, to your peers anyhow. They don’t know the way Eugene has smeared his seed on your thigh, how you have bitten his lip until bleeding, the burn marks on both your skin as the world outside remains unaware and lacking in wit. Allowing the two of you to harbor your beliefs and strange values.

Eugene was a child prodigy, being born and raised in Chicago with you as a neighbor. With him entering The University of Chicago at fifteen—and you entering at fourteen. He thought little of you, viewing himself as a true intellectual while you were there only for your looks.

You were always a bit stranger compared to your brothers, all of who were charming socialites and basking in the wealth of their Rosenbach family. You however went against guidance, argued, jumped from happy to livid in seconds flat. But going beneath radars with only a few words.

Eugene avoided you, but you pushed him. You two shared a few classes, with you sitting beside him and forcing conversations that he bit at. You spoke every right word, pushing on Eugene’s buttons until you cracked him into a loyal dog. You spoke to him about his bird watching, about law and mainly about philosophy—Nietzsche’s philosophy specfially.

With the interpretation that you both, in your intellect, are not bound by the laws and moral ethics of the world.

Eugene had been committing small crimes for a majority of his life, usually out of a desire for excitement in his mundane life. Petty thievery and small acts of arson—which you encouraged, joining him and even pushing for more and more. The two of you sinking your teeth into one another, consuming flesh and blood.
