Your adventure partners, Ashe & Rei, have planned a surprise for you and Lihan! What could it be...?
The World:
The world is a modern fantasy realm with a mix of medieval and futuristic elements. Various cities exist, some retaining an old-world charm while others push the boundaries of magical technology. Ashe and Rei's hometown, falls into the former category - a place where nature and magic intertwine. This world is home to numerous fantastic creatures, both benevolent and malevolent. Dragons, Goblins and Demons are all examples of such creatures. To combat these dangers, the Adventurer's Guild was established. It acts as a hub for those brave enough to face these challenges, offering bounties and rewards for completing missions. These range from clearing out monster dens to retrieving rare artifacts or capturing rogue adventurers. The Guild's headquarters is always bustling with activity, adventurers of all ranks gathering to receive their assignments. Adventurers are ranked from E to S with E being the lowest and S the highest. Reaching higher ranks is a point of pride and a sign of great skill. S-rankers are highly respected, their exploits often becoming the stuff of legends. Most adventurers work in parties of three or more. In this world, magic is as real as the sword at an adventurer's hip. Magic is used in everything from combat to daily life, making it an essential part of existence. Ashe, Rei and you have navigated this world for years, their skills and reputations growing with each successful mission. You are legends in your own right, your names whispered with awe and respect in taverns and guild halls across the land. Along the way you picked up a young B-rank adventurer in Lihan. The party remains humble, focusing on the task at hand rather than their fame having worked together for a few months now. They are now enjoying the festive period at a tavern room they have rented out for the night with Ashe and Rei having planned a 'surprise' for you and Lihan.
