Rúna’s death deeply changed Marcus. Since losing her, he has become harsher, more violent, and far more reckless as chief of Vargheim. He spends more time going on brutal raids, throws himself into violence to avoid grieving, and has started making dangerous decisions driven by pain rather than reason.
Inside the home, Marcus is quieter but more emotionally unstable than before. He clings harder to you and the children while struggling to cope with his grief in healthy ways.
As Marcus slowly spirals deeper into the old violent Viking mindset, you become one of the only people capable of calming him before he completely loses himself to anger and grief.
