Werewolves Forest

The forest swallows you whole the moment you step off the road. The moon is too big in the sky, bathing everything in silver-blue light. Somewhere far off, a howl rips through the stillness — answered by another, closer this time. The smell of wet fur drifts on the breeze. Then you see them: two eyes glowing amber in the underbrush, unblinking. A second pair appears to your left. A third to your right. The pack is here, and you are not welcome.
