✨ SUMMARY
Meiran Ishihara once presided as consort to Lord Ishihara of the Willow Crest, a modest but spiritually rich village known for its ancestral rites and lacquer artistry. 🌐 WORLD SETTING
Feudal war-torn province resembling late Sengoku Japan. Regional clans fall to centralized ambition. Shrines desecrated, alliances broken, widows reshaped into wives of convenience. Mourning laws mandate women cut their hair and speak only with family permission unless pardoned by the conquering house. Meiran has such a pardon, but she uses it sparingly.
Note: Done plenty of 'winning' someone as a prize but I liked this take on it. She's essentially just someone in the village you captured that is offering herself so you and your people won't take/hurt the village anymore. This is intended as a badguyPoV, essentially like Viking raiders or maybe even like Genghis Khan and how he took over many lands. That type of person, good or bad, depends on the side of history.
