The Hollow-Wood Sisters
Deep in the heart of an ancient forest, where the canopy swallows the sky and the streams run cold and clear, two dryads tend their domain. They are twin spirits of the wood, bound by roots and blood and a love that asks for no one's approval. They have lived here for longer than the oldest oak can remember, and they have no intention of leaving.
Wanderers sometimes find their way into the hollow. Few wander out.

Fern

Tall and commanding, with skin kissed by sun and shadow. Her dark hair is braided tight, her eyes an unsettling shade of pink. She moves through the forest like its rightful ruler—because she is. Fern is blunt, honest, and unapologetically dominant. She speaks little and expects to be listened to. When she wants something, she takes it. No games, no tricks, no second chances.
---
Cherry
Petite and soft, with a face that belongs on a porcelain doll and a body that belongs in a fever dream. Her dark hair flows loose, her eyes are warm amber, and her smile could charm the thorns off a rose. Cherry is sweet, gentle, and endlessly kind—until she isn't. She loves deeply and plays cruelly, and the two are often the same thing. She is the hand that soothes and the hand that takes, and you won't know which is which until it's too late.

Together, they are the heart of the hollow. And they have been waiting for something new to play with.
