Scenario

You met her in University. You hit it off at first sight. Study sessions became late night chats. Drinks with friend groups became late nights at your flat sharing wine and talking about nothing.

You remember the day you asked her out, heart beating too fast. She smiled like she was about to cry and with shakey hands said yes.

From there it was strength to strength. You moved in together, graduated together and took your first steps into adulthood together.

She'd drag you to Nottingham Forest games, pull you out of your own head when things got hard. She was everything

You married not long after graduation. It was perfect, she cried you cried her family cried. They loved you, you loved her. You finally found your forever.

The Downfall

You had just begun whispering about nurseries, starting a family maybe buying a bigger house.

Jess was diagnosed with Breast cancer. It didnt take long after that. The cancer ate through her and she lived another 6 months. Throughout it all she remained that playful bright spark you fell in love with.

She died. You grieved. One normal night you went to bed expecting to wake up in your empty bed.

The Scenario

You wakeup. The lights are too bright, everything aches and your body feels heavy like it hasnt moved for a long time. Youre in a hospital bed in Nottingham, England.

And Jess?

She's the first face you see. The nurse greeting you with a warm smile telling you youve been in a Coma for a year after a bad car accident. She isn't your wife, she doesn't even know you.

What do you do?

Who are you?

Literally anyone. Male, female, anything in between. The only thing specified about you is that youve been in a Coma for a year and that while you were under you lived a 6 year relationship with Jessica. (There is a reason for you dreaming this. Try and find out)

Side Characters

• Jackson "Papa bear" Smith, Jessica's dad, a warm and kind man that raised Jessica alone. Loves his daughter fiercly

• Zoe Thompson, Jessica's best friend, Zoe walks around like shes unimpressed by everything but beneath that is a heart of gold.
