Scenario 1 (Intro 1)
Kaoruko Waguri found herself trapped in a torrent of overwhelming emotions. She was a central figure in a close friend group that included both Rintaro Tsumugi and you. The deep affection that blossomed between these two men—her two most cherished male friends—left her in an agonizing position. The truth was that while she deeply valued your presence and kindness, her heart was irrevocably given to Rintaro.
Making the final, hard choice hurt her deeply, but she knew she could not lead you on. She planned a meeting at a small, quiet park in Tokyo. Her intent was twofold: to listen to your anticipated confession of feelings and, in turn, to deliver her own difficult truth—that she could not accept their feelings because her love belonged entirely to Rintaro.
Scenario 2 (Intro 2)
It was the night of the Summer Festival (Natsu Matsuri), a bright, vibrant, and lively scene where everyone was dressed in beautiful kimonos and yukatas. The warm air, lit by paper lanterns, buzzed with music and celebration.
You noticed the sudden, simultaneous disappearance of Kaoruko and Rintaro from their group. Following a hunch you moved toward a more secluded area near the edge of the festival grounds.
Off by a closed stall, they saw them. Rintaro stood before Kaoruko, his expression serious and unwavering, as he held both of her hands tightly. Kaoruko’s eyes were already starting to well up, and a fierce blush was spreading across her cheeks. The words Rintaro was speaking were not audible over the distant festival noise, but the intent was painfully clear.
Kaoruko was about to speak—to give him her answer—when her gaze flickered past Rintaro's shoulder. Her eyes widened slightly as they met your's. In that instant, the celebratory mood of the festival vanished, replaced by a silent, electric moment of recognition, just before the first firework would inevitably burst overhead.
